Today was the most nuts day at work I ever had. It was a good day... I mean nothing bad happened but the pace was insane. We sold over 9 dozen donuts between 6:00-7:30 AM and the pace didn't even start to slow until after 11:30. Even after that it was still pretty crazy. I had this customer today who didn't speak a word of English who wanted to order a soup & sandwish combo but she just told me the price. After she started to get a little nasty I told her that unless she wanted to eat $5.90 she would have to name some kind of food. Her daughter who was wish her could speak perfect English but for some reason she didn't even attempt to help me. What a bitch. She she stood there and smiled.
I walked home to see my mothers car. The faker skipped work. I knew that I wouldn't get the few short hours peace I get when she isn't home so I brased myself. As soon as I walked in she bitched about laundry and going with my sister to the store to get her cat's litter. You see, that was the wrong way to say hello. I got off a insane day while my faker of a mother got to relax all day. Plus, my sister and I both hate her cats and we are also allergic to them. The last thing we want to do is something for her animals which she refuses to take responcibility for. She plays with them and we feed them and change their shitter. Is that fair? I think not.
Now I have work tomorrow morning and I get out at 2:00... I hope. If we have one of OUR store managers all should go well and I'll get out when I'm supposed to. If we have one of the Walden Ave. store managers like yesterday, I'll end up getting home around 3:30 or later. Their store is slow and they seldom have to do anymore than a few orders a night. They're inexperienced and they get in the way. Our Tim Hortons is the real deal. We won quite a few awards for overall customer satisfaction, friendliness, high sales and for being so dann clean. The location also helps. We're in one of the busiest intersections in the subburbs of Buffalo, NY and we sure love our coffee and donuts.
I have a shoot with a professional model scheduled for Saturday and I'm sure that if something happens and it does not go on, she will have a good reason. She is not only professional.
